Revised draft script with annotations including “666.”
Seltzer, David
The Omen [Birthmark]
Los Angeles: Harvey Bernhard, September 8, 1975.
Original 124-page Revised Draft Screenplay by David Seltzer for the horror film under the working title "Birthmark", dated September 8, 1975, with rainbow revision pages dated September 26, bound in an unmarked blue studio front wrap. Contains handwritten notations, changes to dialogue and doodles in blue & black ink on interior pages with handwritten names and phone numbers on front and fly pages.
The supernatural horror film starring Gregory Peck as Richard Thorn would abandon the working title used in this draft in favour of the ominously catchy title The Omen and would go on to gross over $60M at the box office on a minuscule $3M budget. Accompanied by two 10" x 8" black-and-white set stills. Script is in production-used condition, exhibiting stains, bumped and curled edges, stray marks and smudges. Set stills exhibiting some signs of corner wear.
One of the classic horror films of the 1970s, directed by Richard Donner with Gregory Peck and Lee Remick, about a couple who gradually discover that their young son is the Antichrist.
A horror classic in draft form.
